政府为何应该更加重视基础教育：

 

对于个人而言，普及基础教育可以帮助很多贫困的、来着偏远地区的孩子们精神上成长，学术上精进，因此，这可以在很大程度上在未来帮助他们改变命运，摆脱贫困。例如，中国政府近年来就在加大对于基础教育的扶持力度。

 

对于家庭而言，国家普及基础教育可以缓解家庭的财政负担，尤其是对于很多工薪族，家庭节省下预算可以提高生活质量，享受娱乐生活，因此，给孩子们提供更加幸福、快乐的成长环境。

 

对于国家而言，普及教育可以提高国民的基本素质，帮助更多的学生为升入大学打下坚实的基础。基础教育的成功是高等教育发展的坚实基础，因此，基础教育发展，国家才能培养优秀人才，人才可以为国家的发展注入新鲜活力，提高一个国家在国际舞台的竞争力。

 

政府为何应该重视高等教育：

 

另外，那些不同意支持初级的教育的人有时候会找到理由去支持他们的观点，即是，优秀的社会精英，例如，企业家、文学家、科学家更多的是由高等教育培养的，他们可以为国家的发展做出更大的贡献。

 

但是，我想反驳的是： 基础教育可以使更多人辨别是非，增强守法意识及爱国情怀，培养更多行为规范的良好公民，这比培养少量的社会精英的社会意义更大。
